Aids and Adaptations

Arbour Housing is committed to ensuring that it provides a service which is responsive to the needs of all tenants. It is particularly concerned that the needs of people with disabilities are recognised and met.

The responsibility for assessing and advising on the housing needs of people with disabilities lies with the Occupational Therapy Departments of the Health and Social Care Trusts. The Occupational Therapist will provide aids and recommend any adaptations to be made.  In some instances, we can complete low value adaptation works without an OT Report, and staff will be happy to provide advice.
